Confidentiality in terms of counseling is a legal term that includes limits to it. For example, I'm required by law to report child and/or elder abuse. I review confidentiality, and the limits to it, at the beginning of counseling with every client. 

In terms of Website Privacy . . . It's very simple. I will never sell, whisper, or even talk about your private information with anyone else, anywhere, anytime. Ever. Private information is exactly that - private.

The server my website sits on does collect statistics about visiting IP addresses, browsers, and other technical data. I occasionally take a look at these statistics to improve my services. But, believe me, it's impossible for me to tell from those statistics who the person is behind the Foxfire, Mozilla, or IE browser (for example).

Again, IP addresses are NOT linked to personally identifiable information.

So please, don't worry. I'll say it again - Private information is exactly that - private.
